Tempsen have many type of thermocouples ( B,R,S,K,J,T,E) Maximum recommended Ambient to 400 ºC use J type (IC) , Ambient to 1200 ºC use K type (Cr/Al) , Ambient to 1700 ºC use S type (Pt Pt Rh -10%) , Base metal J type recommended for oxidizing and reducing atmosphere. Chromel/ Alumal K type recommended for oxidizing and neutral condition not recommended for reducing atmosphere. Stainless steel and MI suitable for general heat treatment.
