Tension member to carry power and minimise stretch.Base rubber to support cords evenly and compress as the belt bends. Improved transmission ratio (Poly-V 1:60 vs. V-belt 1:20) Reduced diameters can be used. Reverse bend application. Reduced belt width for a given geometry and similar power transfer. Provide a wide selection of speed ranges.
