The new modular VisuNet FLX HMI operator workstation is part of a comprehensive range of operation and monitoring systems from Pepperl+Fuchs for ATEX/IECEx Zone 2/22 and Division 2 (global certifications pending), and non-hazardous areas. This product suite provides a range of solutions that allows the automation specialist to offer total flexibility in the field.
The new platform is tailored to the needs of the petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. The fully modular design enables the configuration of HMI solutions to maximize functionality.
The devices in the new VisuNet FLX series can be ordered in three basic configurations, depending on the user specification.
1. HMI system: complete HMI system (various display options in Full HD) combined with a thin-client, PC, or direct monitor unit, including stainless steel housing in a hygienic design. Suitable for stand-alone installation, such as on a pedestal or support arm.
2. Panel PC: display (various display sizes in Full HD) combined with a thin-client, PC, or direct monitor unit for panel mounting.
3. Box PC: stand-alone PC or thin client for direct installation in a switch cabinet.
In combination with the numerous pending certifications (e.g., ATEX, IECEx, NEC500) and the extensive Pepperl+Fuchs partner network, the VisuNet FLX series offers a flexibly scalable, expanding platform for HMI solutions that can be used worldwide.
Automation is our world. A Perfect application solution is our goal.
A willingness to take entrepreneurial risks, a pioneering spirit, and a firm belief in their own inventive powers – these were the assets that Walter Pepperl and Ludwig Fuchs started out with when they opened their Mannheim radio repair shop in 1945. Their invention of the proximity switch a few years later proved their strength. It was also the starting point in a successful history defined by close customer relationships as well as innovative automation technologies and procedures. Then as now, our focus is directed squarely on the individual requirements of each customer. Whether as a pioneer in electrical explosion protection, or as a leading innovator of highly efficient sensors – the close communication with our customers is what allowed us to become the leader in automation technology. Our main objective is combining state-of-the-art technologies and comprehensive services to optimize our customers’ processes and applications.
